TBC Partners with Sparks Training for Academic Exposure Combine

The Basketball Circuit is excited to partner with Sparks Training for the T.B.C. Academic Combine, an elite exposure camp for boys and girls players from grades 8-12. Run by renowned coach and player development guru Chris Sparks, the Academic Combine is a combine-style showcase run by a staff composed entirely of former Division I and professional players and coaches.  

​About Sparks Training: With more than 20 years of developing athletes at the grassroots, high school and college level, coach Sparks is one of the most well-respected trainers and player-developers in the country. Sparks Training has helped 100's of student-athletes reach the collegiate level in addition to assisting professional athletes with their growth. Sparks has extensive experience at the highest athletic and academic level of college sports, having coached at three Division I programs as an assistant at Ivy League stalwarts Brown University and The University of Pennsylvania, as well as Central Connecticut State. While at Penn, Sparks helped lead the Quakers to an Ivy League Championship and berth in the NCAA Tournament. Sparks has additional college coaching experience at the University of New England.

At the high school level, Sparks previously served as the head coach at Wilbraham & Monson Academy, where he coached and developed over 30 collegiate players. In addition to his collegiate and high school experience, Coach Sparks was the director of the largest exposure camp in the country, the Eastern Invitation, also known as Hoop Group Elite. Currently, Sparks serves as the Director of NE6, one of the country's premier grassroots basketball programs and the only Under Armour travel team in New England.
