Samara Rosado named WNBA Division Tournament MVP; All-Tournament Team Announced
Guard Samara Rosado was named Most Valuable Player of The Basketball Circuit's WNBA Girl's

Varsity Division Tournament after powering the Lions to the WNBA Division Tournament MVP.
Rosado scored 13 points in the Lions' 42-32 Championship game win over Synergy on Sunday, May 23. Rosado scored nine of her 3 points by burying a trio of 3-pointers during a critical second half stretch that saw the Lions grab the lead for good. A day earlier, Rosado's second-half shooting once again was a difference maker for the Lions, as she buried a pair of long three-pointers to propel the Lions into the championship game.
While Rosado's shooting stood out, she impacted all facets of the game. Rosado ran the Lions offense flawlessly in the half court set. In addition to shooting, she displayed deft passing touch, dropping dimes to teammates for easy buckets. She also got to the rim off the dribble and finished through contact, while coming up with big rebounds and key stops on the defensive end. And seemingly with every Synergy run, it was Rosado calming down the Lions before answering with a backbreaking three or jaw-dropping pass to a teammate for two.
