NE6 15U Bring the House Down at T.B.C. in Opening Act

Updated: Jun 12

The NE6 15U team was a hurricane, taking the G-League (9th grade) Division of the T.B.C. AAU National Qualifiers by storm Saturday night, leaving shaking backboards, quacking defenders, and broken egos in their wake to emerge as the clear favorites to win the T.B.C. G-League 9th grade Division and earn an automatic bid to the AAU World Championships.

NE6 rattled off a perfect 2-0 record on the day in pool play, but it wasn't just that they won, it was how they won: With an 89 point differential that stands as the highest of any team in any age group at the qualifiers, NE6 buried opponents under an onslaught of slam dunks, followed by a barrage from behind the arc, and turned the game into a track meet, leaving defenders looking like they were slipping on ice nearly every time down the court. NE6 won the battles of the offensive and defensive glass, and seemed to only grow stronger as the game wore on.

NE6 15U will tip off Sunday at 11:15 a.m. against the winner of Cap City Red versus MCW. It will take three wins for them to punch their ticket to nationals.
